While the top and the bottom of the Horizon League Power Rankings are starting to take shape, the fight for the three-seed is as interesting as ever. Green Bay's big win over Milwaukee should've given it a big edge on the competition, but UIC's beatdown of Northern Kentucky wound up the bigger story. Outside of the race for third, Oakland pulled a weekend sweep and is looking dangerous heading into the Horizon League Tournament.

After word from Detroit Mercy's athletic department indicated previous reports about their postseason eligibility may have been premature, Green Bay's visit to Milwaukee on Saturday has the potential to be a lot more meaningful. Now the race for the Horizon League's three-seed might come with a bye in addition to an opponent lower in the standings.

In a league that's seen so much movement in the Power Rankings, this week stands out as a unique one. For the first time in Horizon League Power Ranking history, nobody changed spots in the rankings. But that's not to say there weren't new and interesting developments: Green Bay's loss to UIC sets up a huge game this weekend while Oakland's Rashad Williams looks like he could shake things up down the stretch.
