The struggles continue for IUPUI, as they fall to 0-2 in Horizon League play.
It began on Thursday as they got dominated against Detroit Mercy, 69-45.
The Titans began the game on an 11-0 run and did not look back from there.
At the half, the Jaguars scored a total of 12 points, trailing 38-12. IUPUI was a horrendous 4-22 from the field as they matched their point total with turnovers and personal fouls.
The Jaguars would actually win the second half by two points, 33-31, but the lead was far too insurmountable for IUPUI.
BJ Maxwell did score double digits for the fourth game in a row, scoring 10. He followed that up by scoring the first six points, and a season-high 19 on Sunday, against Oakland.
The Jags took a lead at the 15:48 mark via a Maxwell jumper, but it would not get any better from there. IUPUI lost to the Golden Grizzlies on Sunday, 78-45.
Right before the break, the Jaguars had the same amount of turnovers as points again, at 14. They would trail 36-20 at the break.
In the second half, IUPUI did not score for 5:46 as Oakland went on a 14-0 run, taking a 30 point lead. The Jaguars would also not hit their first three-pointer until the 5:28 mark of the second half as they started 0-10.
Luckily for IUPUI, they do bring the be solid out of their last three games. A win over D-3 Spaulding.
On the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, they picked that up by a score of 61-41. The Jags did it without Maxwell as well.
It was a dominant first half, as they took a 33-10 lead at the break.
They lost the second half by three but still won by 20.
Bakari LaStrap was the only player for IUPUI to score double digits at 10.
The Jaguars will look to pick up another win as they travel to Nashville to face Tennessee State on Friday.
