The nation’s leading scorer, Anthony Roy, and the rest of the Green Bay Phoenix look to get back in the win column, as they travel to IU Indianapolis for the start of Horizon League play.
Green Bay has lost three straight falling to Evansville and Ohio State on the road before coming home to host Campbell over the holiday weekend. An 18-0 run early in the 2nd half gave the Camels a 51-31 advantage that would prove too much for Green Bay to overcome, despite a furious comeback that saw Green Bay get as close as 65-63 with 2:56 left in regulation. Roy scored 20 in the loss to lead the Phoenix, joined in double figures by sophomore Marcus Hall who had 13.
IU Indy comes into the contest having won two in a row, fresh off a 106-49 win over an NAIA opponent, the Trinity Christian College Trolls. Prior to that came the Jaguars only D1 win of the year, an 88-83 win over Alabama A&M.
Tipoff is set for 5:30 pm CT from Corteva Coliseum.
