Cleveland State’s return to Woodling Gymnasium on Wednesday afternoon, a 62-57 victory over Austin Peay in the team's opening game of the Viking Invitational, was a throwback effort worthy of a building constructed in 1973 and largely...
Oakland goes 2-1 in the Cayman Islands, secures 5th place
When Oakland released their non conference schedule, it looked like wins may be hard to come by early. In the first six games of the year, the Golden Grizzlies have been underdogs in five. There would be no shame in having a...
Norse look to repeat Cross-River Rivalry upset
Cincy too much, sinks NKU 90-66

HLMBB Power Rankings — Week 2
With a week full of buy games and some MTEs in the books, there were some serious changes to last week's Horizon League Power Rankings. Some teams we didn't expect much from before the year have earned both big and small jumps in the rankings, and some of the teams we expected to contend haven't really had the chance to show what they can do. Forget that none of our preseason polls looked like this week's rankings, last week's rankings are already barely recognizable anymore. Before the season started, Purdue Fort Wayne head coach Jon Coffman said that he really liked this year’s squad, which is a mix of veterans, transfer portal acquisitions and freshmen. Five games into this campaign, it’s easy to see why.
Lady Norse send the Thunder in taking down Marshall
Grit, hard-nosed, determination, those were a few of the words being spoken throughout Truist Arena Saturday afternoon after the short-handed Norse took down Marshall 76-66.
Entering the game dressing only eight healthy players, NKU knew it had its hands...

Early Saturday evening, about halfway through Cleveland State’s postgame ceremony to present members of the school’s 2022-23 Horizon League tournament winners with their customary diamond-caked championship rings, Vikings assistant coach Shelby Zoeckler posed for a photo with...
