A shocking ending to a beautiful season: Wright State blows a 24-point lead in the Horizon League Quarterfinals
One word has described Raider Nation for the last couple of hours, and that is “pain”. We were riding high through the first 34 minutes. Hell, I even moved the game over to my laptop to put Detroit Mercy and Northern Kentucky on the TV. I thought it was over; we had a 99.9% chance to win via ESPN. How quickly did I forget that this month can be both beautiful and a bitch at the same time.
It started out beautifully. The Raiders went on a 7-0 run answering the opening points from Milwaukee. At the next stoppage, they would stretch that out to double digits at 23-12. Wright State continued to grow it, leading by as much as 21. They would be up 44-26 at the break.

#HLWBB Power Rankings —Tournament Quarterfinals
While a week off didn't result in many changes in the Men's Power Rankings, there was a good deal of change on the women's side thanks to a number of split series in the last weekend of the regular season. The most notable change is that Green Bay jumped to first thanks to a weekend sweep of previously top ranked Wright State.
Predictably, the middle of the league easily handled the bottom and the first round of the Horizon League Tournament was incredibly chalky.

We're back from an Awards Week-induced hiatus with the smallest combined men's and women's Power Rankings of the season. Following the first round of the Horizon League Tournament, there are eight teams playing for the league's automatic berth.
Because all postseason tournaments except the NCAA Tournament and the NIT have been called off, everyone but Wright State and Cleveland State will be knocked out of the rankings with a loss. CSU may be dropped with a loss as well, as it sounds like the NIT will have just 16 teams and no auto-bids, but reporting has been somewhat mixed at this point.
Beyond teams rising up the ranks due to eliminations, nothing has really changed since two weeks ago.
